During October 2012, a week long series of events titled
"Celebrating Bapu: Unseen Faces, Unheard Voices" was organized at the
India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi. The event was conceptualized by Ms. Sunaina Suneja, the celebrated fashion designer who has focused her efforts on the promotion of Khadi as a material of choice. The idea behind the event was to bring forth little known facets of how people remember Bapu through their thoughts and deeds.
The entire set of events was inaugurated by Shri Fali S.Nariman, Constitutional Counsel and Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India. As a part of the celebrations, I was invited to deliver a talk on
"Bapu and Philately: Spreading the Message of Peace" for about an hour.
